About Us

Presco is an internationally trusted and long-established one-stop-shop for print finishing supplies. From display and presentation products including binding, laminating through to stapling, sticking and tape products we hold huge stocks for rapid delivery. We have become the preferred partner of printers large and small, in-house printrooms, marketing departments, manufacturers, education and government departments and craft workers, serving over 10,000 customers throughout Ireland and Europe.

Our range is backed up with huge stocks, all orders are despatched the same day for a prompt 48 hour delivery service across Europe, with next day options available as well.

The Presco Story

1969: We are founded in Swindon, UK as DPS by David A. Painter, an architect and illustrator who soon starts selling laminated illustrations, giftware and other supplies.

1984: Our current Managing Director Tim Painter joins and the company begins offering laminating services and supply of presentation products such as laminating pouches, roll film, binding wires and binding covers.

1990: The company is given a new name of Print Presentation and regular finishing supplies catalogues start. The company becomes mail order, catering to an increasing number of printers across the UK.

1997: The Print Presentation catalogue in a new A5 format is now recognised as the go-to guide for printers and we have nearly become the full one-stop-shop concept that distinguishes our business today. The range now includes binding screws, menu tassels, swatch fasteners, self-adhesive pockets, suction cups, ball chain and many more finishing sundries. From previously mainly supplying copy shops we now become a key supplier to the whole print trade.

 1999: With fast growth and a new 24,000 sqft premises Print Presentation becomes Presco - a new name for a growing company. Thousands of items are now being sent out for next day delivery around the UK and into Europe.

2000: Presco Europe is founded in Dublin.

2008: Presco goes live online with our first e commerce shop, supply across Europe. We start to hear from lots of new customers outside the print industry who need our products.

2012: Presco rebrands with a new tick logo, and as the impact of digital technologies and business becomes increasingly global we are now selling into different markets and customers around the world.

2014: Presco France is founded in Toulon, to better serve our French customer base.

2015: New, ‘making buying simple’ Presco websites launched in the UK, Ireland, France and Europe.

Today: We are moving forward fast with new innovation and solutions for finishing and identity services.

Our company is almost unrecognisable from a few years ago – apart from our unswerving commitment to customer care.
