Thumbtack Suction Cups
These suction cups with a clear thumbtack are just the ticket if you need to display something on a glass or acrylic surface.
The clear rigid pin requires a 4mm hole in the work to fix to the suction cup, so much smaller and easier than the 15mm required for a full mushroom head of a similar sized plain suction cup.
